What does it mean to truly love?

Today's lesson: The laws of the sixth and ninth commandments
Last class, we re-capped the previous four laws and transitioned into the fifth. Since the beginning of written humanity, we have disregarded our human sexuality as a co-creation with God...towards thank you for the recreation, God. Idolatry is no different today, than it was then. We saw this reality within the previous videos in class. I would like to begin with Fr. Ponifex's poem of idolatry...which focuses on Mary as a source of grace to help us through the most difficult of the commandments (like a good mother would).

- Why were man and woman called to communion from the beginning? What does the marital union of a man and woman say to us about God and his plan for our lives?
- What is the purpose of the married and celibate vocations?
- What exactly is "Love"?
- Is it truly possible to be pure of heart?
